About Us
Happy Valley Farm is a local, no-till family farm located on the San Juan River between Farmington and Kirtland. Peter has been selling at farmers markets in San Juan County since 2020. Happy Valley Farm is also selling to schools this year as well as the San Juan College Harvest Food Hub & Kitchen.
Practices
In 2024, Peter converted his fields over to weed fabric and drip irrigation. Specializing in melons, he typically has close to 14 varieties, including five different types of watermelons, tomatoes - including some heirlooms, and fresh hydroponic lettuce. Happy Valley also began growing strawberries in 2025.
