Located in the heart of historic downtown Farmington, Orchard Street Gardens is a small urban farm created by turning vacant lots into productive land. Owner/operator Doug Dykeman has been growing and selling vegetables in San Juan County for over 25 years. Doug sells seasonal produce to community members at markets, supplies local restaurants and caterers, and participates in a regional community supported agriculture program. In addition to a variety of locally adapted vegetables and fruit, Orchard Street Gardens specializes in heirloom tomatoes, sweet peppers, eggplant, melons and basil, all raised in pesticide-free environment
