Producer

Nova Market Garden is situated on three acres of irrigated land in Aztec, NM. It is run by Donal and Betsy Kinney, who have gardened together for more than 30 years. We call our operation a market garden, because we use intensive growing practices on permanent garden beds. We believe that healthy nutritious food comes from healthy soil.

We use no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or other chemicals prohibited by the USDA national organic certification program, but our farm is not currently certified organic. We use minimal tillage and soil regenerative methods, focused on improving and maintaining the life within our soil.
