Producer
The mission of Gathings Gardens is to provide organic produce to local families using a holistic traditional farming approach. Gathings Gardens is a family-owned farm and nursery founded in 2022 by Jeremy and Selece Gathings, who run the farm alongside their four children. Their goal is to teach these agriculture techniques to the future farmers through vocational courses and intern opportunities.
The Gathings Community Gardens Non-Profit was established in 2023 to provide vocational training to future farmers with courses specifically in husbandry, irrigation, organic gardening, vegetation applications, and solar/green energy. The non profit aims to donate thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local food pantries and supplies food to San Juan College and local school districts.
Gathings Community Gardens is a family-led initiative rooted in regenerative agriculture, food access, and youth empowerment in the Four Corners region. At Gathings Gardens, they grow fresh, nutrient-dense produce using regenerative farming practices that prioritize soil health, water conservation, and sustainability. Their farm operates with solar-powered systems, and they never spray chemicals or use artificial fertilizers—everything is grown naturally, with care for both the land and the community.
