Bidii Baby Foods is an organic, Navajo owned, Indigenous Baby Food line which was established to increase access to nutrient rich and culturally significant traditional foods. Mary and Zach founded their small farm and agricultural cooperative to provide young children with access to ancestral foods early in life in order to increase food security, and sustain spiritual, emotional and family connections. Bidii Baby Foods aims to not only expand a successful Indigenous baby food brand, but also aggregate with other Indigenous farmers to build an increased and coordinated supply of traditional foods.
Their mission is to connect children to the land through traditional foods, fostering attachment, belonging, and lifelong health. They envision a future where traditional Indigenous foods are plentiful and accessible, in early childhood and beyond.
Bidii Baby Foods exclusively processes all of their crops into baby cereals which helps improve food access, ensure shelf stability, and reduce food waste. They practice traditional Indigenous (regenerative and organic) agriculture. Bidii Baby Foods is a small batch food manufacturer meaning that they handle every step from growing the ingredients, to processing, packaging and finally distribution. This ensures them to make the highest quality products.
